Battery Installation
Notes: PIN Number will need to be reset after each battery replacement.
Before installing new batteries, press the "F" key. This will clear the old PIN number in the memory. You can then set your new PIN number.
1.. Open battery Cover
2. Install 3 AAA batteries. (Alkaline batteries recommended.)
3. Replace battery compartment door firmly.
PIN Number Setup
Note: All setup must operated in the disarmed mode. Slide down the button cover to operate the button.
Set your PIN Number. Press a 4 digit PIN Number.
To reset your PIN Number, press the "F" button and your 4 digit PIN number within 5 seconds. You will hear four beeps which confirms you have entered the correct PIN Number. Press "F" again and enter the new 4 digit PIN number.
If PIN number was entered incorrectly on initial setup you will hear 2 beeps. The alarm will sound if the incorrect number is entered three times. If you have forgotten your PIN number then see the battery replacement procedure.
Installation of Door Alarm
1. Attach magnetic sensor and the rack for the alarm main unit with the enclosed tape or screws.
2. Align the arrows on the magnetic sensor and main unit with the button cover closed. The magnetic sensor can be located on either the right or left side of the main unit.
Note: The door alarm main unit and its magnetic sensor must be located as close as possible (1/2" maximum).
3. Test the alarm by opening the door installed to make sure the installation is successful.
4. To take the alarm off from the rack, press down a little bit to take it off easily.
Alarm Signal/Time Selection
Signal Selection:
1-Alarm Signal, 2-Ring Signal, 3-Emergency Signal
Press "1" and "F", and the number (1, 2 or 3) to select the prefered alarm signal.
Setup Alarm Time
1-Ten Seconds, 2-Twenty Seconds, 3-Thirty Seconds
Press "2" and "F", and the number (1, 2 or 3) to select the prefered alarm time.
Exit/Entry Delay Time Alarm Selection
The delay time alarm function enables you to leave or enter without activating the alarm. There are three delay time options: 0, 8 or 20 seconds.
0 seconds will immediately sound the alarm when the door is opened
8 and 20 seconds allows will allow a short time before the alarm activtes.
Operating Instructions
Press "F" twice to enter into its stand by mode. You will see its LED blinking for seconds and then blinking once every three seconds. The factory setting is set to activate the alarm after 20 seconds. To change see above instructions.
To Deactivate Alarm: Press the "F" key and enter your 4 digit PIN number within 5 seconds of pressing the "F" key. Two beeps will confirm your PIN number was correct
Emergency Alarm
Press the "F" button for two seconds and alarm will activate.
Low Battery Indicator
You will hear 1 beep every 20 seconds when batteries are low.
